Two Kids (narrative poem)

Two Kids

There were two kids I once knew
With a love like I'd never seen
No matter what they went though
Their love; nothing could come between

Until it all fell apart
They still think about it today
It broke their little hearts
It wasn't supposed to be this way

He forced himself to leave
And regained his composure
His heart removed from his sleeve
He never needed closure

She held on oh so tightly
And never let him go
Composing a symphony
Just waiting on an echo

There's so much more I could say
Cause there's so much more to tell
Even on this very day
Those two kids will never say farewell
